My daughter, Alicia, has been riding at Whispering Horse for 6 1/2 years. After four 45 minute sessions, she learned how to ride her bike without training wheels. Her core strength, balance, hamstrings have all improved a great deal. As well as her self-confidence and self-control. Her speech is also much better. She loves Whispering Horse.

Our son Alex has been going to Whispering Horse for a few years now. During this time, Alex, has loved every moment. He welcomes the therapy involved and could stay there all day if he could. Pat and her crew are the most loving and caring people around and have worked wonders with our son.
My wife and I truly believe that since Alex began there, he has made significant strides. We see it every week.
We have also gone to Pat's Camp during the summer. Alex liked it so much, we had to sign him up for the following one. 2 Camps in a Row!!!!!

Tristan
When we moved to East Longmeadow almost two years ago, finding a facility for hippotherapy for our then 3 year old son Tristan was on our list of things to do. We had seen nice gains with his overall gross motor skills since he started hippotherapy a few months prior to our move. We were pleasantly surprised to find the Whispering Horse Therapeutic Riding Center just minutes from our house.
Not only did we find a convenient place to continue with Tristan's therapy, but we found a special place with amazing people. Pat Bean and her staff and volunteers have been wonderful to work with! It is clear that they are a knowledgeable, well trained and incredibly caring group of people who have the kids best interest in mind.
While Tristan loves his sessions at Whispering Horse, our entire family enjoys spending time there. It truly is a special place and we are so very thankful to have it in our community.
While Tristan is almost 5, hippotherapy continues to be an important part of his weekly therapy schedule and he always looks forward to it! Thanks so much to Pat and all her staff and volunteers...you guys are amazing and we are so lucky to have found you!
